Compounding Problem

So they lost their job due to the recession, cutbacks, and layoffs. At least they could get unemployment benefits money. But now, the benefits have run their course right at a time when finding employment is even more difficult than when they were laid off.

Now what...

MSNBC: Recession persists, but jobless benefits ending
In the coming weeks and months, hundreds of thousands of jobless Americans will exhaust their unemployment benefits, just when it's never been harder to find a job.

...estimates that up to 700,000 people could exhaust their extended benefits by the second half of this year.

It's not a pretty situation is it? Good thing Bill Clinton ended welfare because it wasn't needed anymore. Funny how he ended Glass-Steagall at the same time. The era of BIG Gov't wasn't over..it was just over for poor people.
