Bush Gone Amok

Bush and Cheney continue to outright lie to the American people about the role of America in the Iraq occupation and civil war.

Cheney continues to lie about connections between Saddam and 9-11. He is unconscionable. No President and Vice President have ever sunk to the low that these two explore so vigorously. Continue to press your elected officials for impeachment of these two scoundrels.

The American people know better. Even though they are fed nonsense, are constantly blind sided by erroneous and fluff "news", they know there is something more than rotten in the White House.

There is a level of alarm arising within the Republican base that whole heartedly embraced Bush. The real stories that come from Iraq through the soldiers that have been in the thick of it, are making the rounds. People are aware of the atrocity created by Bush and his neo-con junta. Military families in growing numbers want out of Iraq.

Even as Loved Ones Fight On, War Doubts Arise

...Skyler, 24, an infantryman on his second tour of duty in Iraq. “Mom, we killed women on the street today. We killed kids on bikes. We had no choice..”

The same week, she said, her son told her he thought he had seen the worst when he had to pick up the body parts of his dead buddy, but then he saw an Iraqi boy picking up what was left of his dead father."

Experts cite three causes of eroding morale among military families: longer and multiple deployments, the continued chaos in Baghdad, and the growing death toll — April, May and June were the deadliest three months for American troops since the invasion of Iraq in March 2003.

Midwest Towns Sour on War as Their Tolls Mount

Deep into a battle with no visible end, many Republican and Democratic voters here say the cause is no longer clear, the war no longer seems winnable and the costs are too high.

"It's time to get the hell out. It's a holy war, and you're not going to win it, no matter what you do."

One thing is completely clear about Iraq. The sadistic nature of the Bush administration permeates the war.

Marine says beatings urged in Iraq

"We were told to crank up the violence level," said Lopezromo, who testified for the defense. He indicated that during daily patrols the Marines became much rougher with Iraqis. Asked by a juror to explain, he said, "We beat people, sir."

He added that Marines, in effect, consider all Iraqi men as part of the insurgency. "Because of the way they live, the clans, they're all in it together," he said.

How can there possibly be any rationale whatsoever for staying in Iraq. All the male people in Iraq are now regarded as the enemy! This is pure insanity. This is a continuation of the Bush signature in Iraq.

Can we think back to a situation where the native inhabitants of a land were regarded as the enemy that needed to be extermintaed? This is what America has become under Bush. This is sickening.
