The Market On Thursday

Good morning. It is 66 degrees and cloudy here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a cloudy day with temperatures in the 80s this afternoon. The long range forecast has rain until Sunday, then a few days of sunshine. The only problem is the long range forecast is not perfect.

At 9:10 a.m. ET DOW futures are +7 and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open slightly higher.

Trump's absurd Muslim ban goes into effect tonight, as more and more people around the world regard the USA as the place to stay away from. Travel and tourist dollars will decrease further, terrorism will remain the same, and Trump gets to wave some fraudulent victory in the faces of his dead brained credulous and cult-ish supporters. Meanwhile the rest of us continue to endure el Stupido.
