The Market On Monday

Good morning. It is 64 degrees and mostly sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a mostly sunny day, some clouds, and temperatures in the 70s this afternoon. The long range forecast shows an extremely rainy week, rain, rain, and more rain. Dust off your umbrella.

At 9:10 a.m. ET DOW futures are +64 and the price of oil per barrel is up. The market is poised to open moderately higher.

I managed to tune out about 50% of the news this weekend. However I did spend too much time watching the HBO series 'The Leftovers'. Trump as president is like having a weight hanging off your body, the man is fatiguing to the soul. On the other hand, The Left Over is a good series, very well done. It is dark though, not a happy tale.
