Good morning. It is 52 degrees and sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures around 72 degrees this afternoon. I ended up watching portions of the VP debate last night. I must say I wish the GOP had put up Pence instead of Trump, the man's politics are from woo woo land but at least he seems like a civilized person. He has virtually none of the overall miserable horrible personality traits of Trump, Trump is disgusting. I thought Kaine did just fine, he attacked and I wished I were in the debate at a few points. When this screwy meme is put forth by the right that Trump is not some kind of polished rehearsed politician, when I hear that it drives me nuts. Trump has been out there for two years slumping as a politician attempting to be president, so in Trump's own miserable words, give me a break, give me a break.
At 9:10 a.m. ET futures are moderately higher and the price of oil per barrel is up now trading around $49.50. The market is poised to open moderately higher.
Investors are dropping out of gold, oil is gaining, and the Brexit is taking it's toll on the British pound. Perhaps you can tape the present fate of the pound onto the righteous pointy heads of your Trump supporting friends and family. Take a look at what an isolationist policy does to the value of your currency.
