In Fla, they've been talking about the eventual arrival of what's called the I-95 Hurricane for decades. It's finally here. With a vastly overpopulated and densely developed coast Fla. is very possibly going to reap the rotten fruit of a generation of poor development planning and developer arrogance starting tomorrow evening. Hopefully, the storm will wobble at the last moment and stay well offshore.

Looking at this from a political point of view, it may turn out that Matthew is the bigger October surprise. It's taken over the news cycle meaning we don't have to hear Trump, Trump, Trump all the time on TV. It's terrible news for Trump because he has thrived on all the MSM attention. Now it's gone. It's looking like this storm is going to be a real hard one in terms of destruction - a major natural disaster.
