summary - Scientists working in the mid-Atlantic and south-west Indian Ocean have found evidence of microfibers ingested by deep sea animals including hermit crabs, squat lobsters and sea cucumbers, revealing for the first time the environmental fallout of microplastic pollution.

As if Climate change wasn't enough, but in reality, it's just one part of the massive assault on the entire planetary environment our civilization is now mounting.

At it's very core, the globes animal population is taking it on the chin. This particular issue with them eating micro pieces of plastic is horrifying.

Once global war starts and the planets 600+ nuclear reactors start melting down and their waste cooling pools run dry that will be the end of most life on the planet and especially homo Saipans. I'm sure Mother Nature will probably breathe a sigh of relief and think oh well that idea / experiment ( humans ) sure didn't pan out very good.
