China promises to peak its emissions by 2030. This is the era we live in, people know there's man made global warming and don't want to do much about it. If there was ever a kick the can down the road deal, this is it.

The Chinese just gave Mother nature the finger. But like the old commercial Mother says you can't fool Mother nature and she doesn't take well to being f*cked with, so its right off the cliff we go wheels spinning. I think that's the part of this that is so maddening. The pols and the Corps. don't get it. This isn't about those of us that know better, their not dealing with us, were the easy ones to defeat. Mother on the other hand.
You don;t have to go to far to smell BS with this thing. Their talking about capping in 2030 and that's another 2 decades of relentless carbon emissions. We already have extreme weather and record breaking heatwaves. Hang on it's going to be a hell of a ride.
