Global Warming - The Encyclical

Guardian UK: Pope's climate change encyclical tells rich nations: 'Pay your debt to the poor' - Pontiff’s 180-page intervention in climate change debate casts blame for ‘ecological crisis’ on the indifference of the powerful
Francis writes: “Those who possess more resources and economic or political power seem mostly to be concerned with masking the problems or concealing their symptoms”. The failure to respond, he says, points to the loss of a “sense of responsibility for our fellow men and women upon which all civil society is founded”.

The fancy underground settler / bunker that was all over the Internet the other day is how the wealthy are preparing to deal with the coming societal collapse and ecological suicide of humanity. Just like HG Wells predicted they'll go underground and try to tough it out. Talk about putting your head in the sand. If you ask me they're already acting like Morlocks.

Francis talks about a loss of responsibility for our fellow man among the rich and elite. Ya think...?

I found that tricked out bunker to be such a piece of insulting crap. It just shows you that these people are far far more impoverished than any pauper or homeless person.
