Yes, reverence to Health Ins. companies is certainly part of our present so called Health system. Obamacare is the worst deed of the Obama Presidency. It has essentially enshrined for profit Health Ins. as the way our system will deliver Health services, even though these Corps. do essentially nothing more then try and deny as much of that care as possible. In fact denial of care is its business model and Obamacare provides it plenty of opportunities to do so. The worst part though of this Fascistic system is the so called mandate to have coverage. This outrage will get worse when the Gov't subsidies for the poor and middle class are over turned by the SCOTUS next yr. At that pt. the whole mess will hopefully collapse.
I just think the Onion nailed it but good. Yes the business model is to deny health care. I was in the hospital 3 times this last year and man, I was shocked by the co-pays and the multiple billings. Some people are facing financial ruin from a hospital stay. I've called the hospital billing and have directly asked, why? You only speak with someone who knows how to take your money and draw up your account. We are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
