He's got chutzpah that's for sure.
Ignore the warning signs, danger signs, radioactive signs and just move forward. He wants to wait a year and see if his polling numbers can rebound from bridgegate and the exposure of his ineptitude in running Jersey
His motto is never ever under estimate the short memory and stupidity of the electorate. The man has a seasoned contempt for the rest of us. Considering the shady, sleazy and down right criminal cast of characters we've elected to the Presidency this last 40 yrs. its earned.
Elections are now a science of how to peal away soft middle voters who have no political affiliation. Christie as a GOP candidate already has a solid 25% to 30% of the vote, doesn't matter what he did - he could be a mass murderer practically, he only needs to impress another 15% to 20% of those middle voters to win. The country is so polarized right now Christie knows he still has a shot and as you say that the US collective memory is like swiss cheese.
