There is an old saying, to see your future look at your present and your past. The saying is more about inaction and how nothing is going to change if you simply move along with time as it were. We need to actively put energy into the system to make the future look different from the past. More positive energy yields a more positive result. In this respect, America is buying assault rifles like they were going out of style. One must presume that our future will look quite a bit like our past with massacres probably picking up in frequency and I think we all know that.

My guess is they're buying right now because they expect a ban soon.
They've been buying since Obama took office in 08. NRA logic goes like this, if you ban assault weapons then the next step is everything.
If you take that a step higher it would be if you ban nuclear bombs, then the next step will be no more pen knives.
It makes no sense but this guys are totally jacked up on right wing BS.
