Duh Debate

Well the popcorn making has commenced, let's face it, this is going to be entertaining.

I expect at least one major jaw dropper. I wonder if someone has already come up with a hypothetical gaffe from Palin.

Do we expect Palin to land a few zingers, oh yes, will she "win" the debate, I have to go with.........no.

Politico: Palin’s new plan: Go after Biden

The Palin camp is projecting surprising self-confidence in the pre-debate hours, despite the vice presidential nominee’s uneven — and, at some points, peculiar — performances in recent television interviews, the officials say. Top advisers to John McCain privately say Palin’s recent CBS interview was a borderline disaster, especially since it played out in several segments over several days. Tonight will be different, they say.

Politico: Psychics: Stars not aligned for Palin

Palin is an Aquarius, which, O’Dowd said, means she’s free-spirited, free-thinking, innovative, outspoken and articulate — "although she hasn’t shown that lately.”

That means Mercury’s retrograde could really stultify Palin. “There’s a slight astrological possibility that Mrs. Palin would pull out. ... Or she maybe just have one of those long Ms. South Carolina pauses,” O’Dowd said, referring to a notorious and excruciatingly embarrassing beauty pageant flub that occurred in 2007. She pegged its likelihood at 50 percent.
