The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is 64 degrees and getting sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the 80s this afternoon. The first day of Autumn is Thursday, so enjoy these last few days of official Summer. How about that George H.W. Bush publicly saying he will vote for Clinton. That's going do something, exactly what I don't know yet, but definitely something. I suspect he carries some weight with a few Republicans being in the role of a direct descendant of Ronald Reagan.

At 8:50 a.m. ET futures are moderately higher and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open moderately higher.

Wednesday looks like it's going to be a more critical type of day with a report coming from the Fed. As we know the Fed holds tremendous power over world markets. Can we just get that base interest rate hike already.
