Trump’s aides are suggesting they aren’t even sure they can convince their candidate to commit to taking his prep seriously before the second debate because there’s a non-zero chance that Trump thinks he actually performed well at the first one. So, yeah, the sun is shining, the horizon almost inviting.

Not surprisingly Donnie is now running around trying to make everyone buy into his delusional take on the 1st debate that he somehow really won because some very unscientific online polls say so. Of course, all the others are wrong in his view . It's so characteristic of this guy and it's what makes him so dangerous on the one hand and so attractive on the other. I know people like this guy their modus operandi is simple it's first and foremost always about them and their's and secondly it's all about MORE for themselves. My old granny had a saying and I believe she was somewhat right when she said human nature could be summed up by this simple phrase "Afer me you come first." The trouble with Drumpf is that his version reads more like this "After me comes me and you aren't even on the list" Granny's saying than probably does apply to the great majority of humans , but not all of them and decidedly NOT Herr Drumpf.
LOL - that's a riot, 'after me you come first'. Your granny was very correct on DJ, prescient. I think the cloud of his shite storm is clearing and it is becoming more and more clear that his reason for running are truly all about himself. Back in the day when Harvard first started, the person with the most money was the person who graduated number one in the class. Trump is the maligned continuation of this absurd tradition and his children are his perfect heirs for the same reason.
He believes in a monied Aristocracy that should rule. He's what Citizens United has given us and will continue to give us if left standing. We are no longer "WE THE PEOPLE" we are now "WE THE RICH PEOPLE & THEIR CORP. PEOPLE."
