New Yorker: How Much Damage Did the Debate Do to Donald Trump? By John Cassidy
“If Mr. Trump had a strategy for winning Monday night’s face-off with Mrs. Clinton, it remains as secret as his plan to defeat [the] Islamic State.”

There are two more debates all he has to do is IMO win the last and he'll be ok. The race will stay tight regardless. Drumpf's problems are to some extent demographic in nature. Even with the GOP coalition forming up behind him the numbers are barely there anymore as the last three Presidential races have shown. Still, he has a chance if he can win all the battleground states and right now he's doing quite well in most of them according to 538. Nate's org. seems to be leaning toward Drumpf this yr. and I suspect to some degree it's his compensating for doing so poorly predicting Drumpf's rise.

It's true of all the bonafide polling outfits, 538 is the most pessimistic. Still 538 jumped to a 62% chance of a Clinton victory just overnight. Trump is incorrigible. He thinks he won. Why would he change his 'strategy'. Clinton's team will likewise be parsing the tape and looking for more and more avenues to exploit. Trump's problem is that he can't take any criticism whatsoever. He is instantly compelled to strike back. Once he strikes back he loses his concentration and his anger causes him to start rambling all over the place, it's like his mind goes on a extroverted diarrhea shit rant. He can't help himself because this is a lifetimes worth of brain patterning we are witnessing, from a man who lacks empathy, compassion, and enough awareness to keep a lid on it. He just cannot do it, especially in two weeks. He says he was tempted to go into the gutter in his 'hit' on Clinton. I wish he had, it would have hurt him even worse. Clinton is prepared for that, make no mistake.
