I think a pattern is starting to appear where Clinton is going to stay somewhere between 2% to 5% ahead of tRumpf until the end. What's happening now is pretty typical of the past 5 elections. As we go forward toward Oct. the race tends to tighten no matter which side is in the lead at the start. That's because partisan and party loyalties start to kick in as more and more of the voters start paying attention to the race. This year that's to tRumpf's advantage since he's been trailing her most of the way. Nevertheless, unless something really radical happens at this pt. he's in trouble. She has her work to do though getting young voters to vote for her. He has a real problem with a part of the GOP base as well.

She may actually win this thing, send Trump packing and what a fun image that would be. At the NY Times election page - Hillary Clinton has a 74% chance of winning the presidency. Last updated Tuesday, September 20 at 11:59 AM ET - she's still holding her own. Five Thirty Eight has her chances at the lowest of all the major polling outfits. As you say, it could be that Nate wants to overcompensate as he missed Trump's rise. Still, at this point if you heard Trump's chances of winning were 74% and Clinton's were 26% - how would you feel. I would feel pretty desperate. If you saw Lawrence O'Donnell's Last Word last night, he went into how much Clinton's ground campaign is better. There's just so many people in America that are so incredibly casual about voting, or who don't vote, it's cray. So getting those people out to vote is critical.
