I've put myself on a low sugar diet the last 6 mos. I've lost 8 Lbs. and I find my moods are steadier as well My general temperament is better as well. Sugar is not good for us. The facts are though that almost every commercial food product I can think of is heavily dosed with it.
Yes, yes, yes. Sugar is the addictive friend and worst enemy all rolled into one. I try to stay away from it but it does sneak in on occasion. I'm down to 150 from 170 mostly from staying off sugar and a few other high glycemic foods as well.
