For all it's worth and I disagree. RMoney was briefed to come on as being a reasonable likeable guy in this debate and allow Obama too be the aggressor. The reason is he's now trying to get the gals to see him as non-threatening. He knows he needs to win back as many of the gals as possible to win and you can't do that by appearing as a war monger. Mom's don't like to hear that their sons might be marched off to War. So Willard played peacenik talking about World Peace and ending the War in Afghanistan etc. blab blab blab. It was a brillant strategy / performance and I suspect it will work this close to the election. Think about how his handlers have so deftly moved him to the middle from the far right place he had to be in to get the nomination from his far right wing party. It's the mirror opposite of what a Dem. has to do in their party where the base is far to the left of the leadership. Now both leaderships have to play the same game to get nominated. Even Obama had to play Progressive for a while to shore up his own base this fall and were all falling into line just as Rahm predicted. Where else do we go? Jill Stein? Really? In a close election like this? Not going to happen. So RMoney is now singing the tune of a centrist / moderate LOL. Might even get him elected.

It sounds very plausible. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around a Romney presidency.

It's easy just think of the 8 yrs. under BV$H and add some Mormon cuckoo pie to the mix and you have the next 8 yrs. Women will be set back several generations and a war with Iran is almost a sure bet, since the only economy the GOPT approves of is a war economy. The rest of the economy is in China and India, Malaysia, Korea and Singapore now. America is destined for 3rd world status. As the warming proceeds we will decline even further as the midwest turns to a barren drought stricken desert and the coasts flood and all the resources get sucked into trying defend NYC etc. In 100 yrs. if CO2 isn't brought back down to below 350 ppm the average temp. in large parts of N.America in summer will be like death valley every day. Our vast food growing areas will disappear and with it will come world-wide starvation. Water will be the new oil. Billions will perish in vast resource wars as our species fights over every last acre of food producing land and potable water. The Oceans will become so acidic most fish will die off and shellfish will vanish as the food chain in the oceans collapses. It just going to get uglier and uglier as we go forward. Unless, by some miracle we hit on techno fixes to reverse the Co2 and give us other energy sources. Even at that it will take centuries, maybe even millennia to fix the damage already in the pipeline.
