Domestic Violence As Pre-Existing Condition

Health care insurance needs to be reformed in so many ways.

Eight US states have no laws on the books that prevent health insurance companies from using domestic violence as a pre-existing condition and consequently deny medical cost reimbursement in such a case.

This is as wrong as it gets.

The states are Idaho, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota and Wyoming.
