Consumer Non Confidence

Turns out consumer confidence data AKA how much money you spent in June you ingrate, was down.

Stocks may follow the trend. In this instance green shoots are now reversing the principles of botany.

Reuters: Wall Street falls on consumer confidence data
...consumer confidence fell in June after a sharp rise in May.

Consumer spending amounts to roughly two-thirds of the U.S. economy.

NO recovery is complete without job creation. The Lords of the economy don't need workers anymore they tell us. U see they can run it all from their blackberries now while visiting their mistress in Argentina. Hey, it worked for King David didn't it?

No Problemo, with consumer confidence dropping in June, we are not even at recovery yet.

A REAL healthcare reform would put 500 pts. on the DOW. A Corp. sell-out will put 200 on for a week.

I don't envy the people that in charge of writing that piece of policy.

I do. They can make history. The Dems. have been trying to reform Health Care in America for 75 yrs.! It just keeps getting worse as we go on in time. With millions of Baby boomers retiring and in need of more and more of these services the Health Mafia has to be put on a leash or else everyone will suffer. The present non-system is literally bankrupting America.

I'm talking about the logistics.

It needs to be seamless otherwise the weak parts will be exposed and used as political or corporate leverage points.

These people have to be exceptional and PhD skilled in social policy, health care, bureaucratic structures and implementation, not to mention the law, and understanding all population sectors. Its an immense task.

Leave to the Dems to fuck this up. Just the fact alone that DINOcrats like NMax Bauchus and others have their corrupt hands on the ball is scary enough. It's good to watch the Progressive elements in the party really fighting for this one though. Who knows maybe we still have a chance to see something worthwhile yet? I'm so tired though of seeing the Dems. just give the store away to the same old Corp. bastards. If they try this move with the Health mafia and we end up in an even worse place with this , the way Clinton left us , then all bets are off. The Dems will start to sink if the public thinks they're being screwed on this.
