He was great! Let's pray he can convince the Dems. in the Senate where half of them are bought agents of BIG VAMPIRE CARE. I think he knows this is a make or break issue for himself and the Dems. They've been promising a solution for this problem for 75 yrs. If not now when? You can tell he has no Love for BIG Vamp. they killed his dear Mother. He knows first hand how cruel and evil they are.
Yeah, I like him at these press conferences. He can match wits with anybody there. I can't wait to see if this public health plan gets off the ground.
As far as Iran goes, I think you hit the nail on the head the other day pointing out that if Pat Robertson and company had their way, the USA would resemble Iran in terms of structured rigid theocracy. What drives me nuts about hearing the Republicans get all high and mighty on Iran is this. Where the fuck were these guys when Bush was doing everything in his power to take away democracy right here, right in the USA! Where the hell was Lindsay Graham then. Now that ass and his ilk have the nerve to go on TV and crave democracy in Iran. Has anyone stopped to think about what they really mean which is opening up Iran to Christian religious conversion and a different version of rigid rules to live by, Republican rules post fascist. It drives me nuts hearing these guys.
Bottom line is this, all the shit coming out of Republican mouths on Iran right now is only about one thing, its about trying to gain back power, its purely political rhetoric because they have no fucking track record to back them up even right here for christ's sake. They are all about limiting democracy not growing democracy. Goes right back to the Trilateral commission.
