Ready, Man, Really Ready

It all depends on the definition of ready. Is she ready to make command decisions that benefit the extreme Christian right wing fundamentalists, appoint fundamentalist judges, further blur the lines of church and state, continue with wars based on a stack of card lies - we would go with a big yes.

"People will have a chance to see her from beginning to end without being edited," former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn., told CBS' "The Early Show" on Thursday.

"We've all had bad days," Thompson said, "and she's had some bad moments in some of these interviews, just like the rest of us have had."

Its curious to read that the journalist writing this decided to go with Fred Thompson of all people to make comments on Palin's readiness. Fred would have lots of sympathy for Palin as he is almost as equally ill informed.
