McCain Campaign In Disarray

Watch the clip, at the end there is reference to a need for some kind of good news for the McCain camp.

Then look at the preceding AP poll which shows the race almost even.

According to column commenter GK, AP is a right wing managed corporation. Its as if they saw this clip, and issued a poll that answered the discussed need for McCain.

The Pressure is starting to wear Mcsame down. He's old and he's not well. She's so over bearing and ambitious it must annoy him just being around her. What a terrible choice for a running mate. She always looks ready to throw him under the wheels. She knows he can't win , she just doesn't want him to ruin her shot for next time. Let's pray her 15 mins. of fame is up soon, she's friggin scary.

Some would assume that if McCain loses, Palin will be back in some form.

Once you get a taste of that kind of power and that level of notoriety its probably hard to go back to the farm.

Palin will be back, she's way too into it to back out. She gets 2 years to do serious work on her policy chops and honing some kind of right wing x-tian populist bastard child like Huckabee.

Personally I think the right needs some new blood. But I also think its clear to Republicans that they don't need a person of substance, they need a cult leader, a person with lots of form and just enough mouth to convince a highly worked out and number crunched electoral map. We have to figure that there's a lot of people on the right who will be going through the McCain wreckage and looking for some signs of action, signs of populism among a slim majority or a minority that they feel can snowball into a slim majority.
