John Bolton on Obama

The neo-cons are in disarray.

With 8 years of the Bush administration under our belts we have first hand experience at seeing what a neo-con administration can do.

Putting it in the simplest of terms there is great disdain among the American public for the failed and dangerous policies of the neo-cons.

John Bolton is an outspoken neo-con. He is now the "former" US ambassador to the UN. Bolton was not favorably received by the UN. This is due to the neo-con contempt for the concept of the UN itself. How did Bush appoint Bolton? Bush appointed Bolton behind the door in recess as it were. Bolton would never be approved by Congress.

Makes sense, a wildly unpopular president appoints an equally wildly unpopular neo-con.

Listen to the Bolton in his characteristic bravado find the fault with Obama on foreign policy. Bolton will only be able to find his voice on Fox. At present his stock is much lower than GM's.

His stock is low right now. Without a McCain administration he is nothing more than an occasional talking head on Fox. I found his little power grab comment to be slightly hypocritical.

He'll do the neo-con talk circuit, do some AEI think tank consulting, write books and articles, but he will have no power or office. He's history, he had his shot now he has to talk with Hannity.

Judging by the way he sounds he certainly believes he should be running foreign policy.

Maybe he should take up golf.
