Oh my God is Trumpf the classic guy who lied his way into a job and then getting to the actual job hasn't got a clue and just fakes it? Sadly, I know how it feels having done just that over the years more in desperation then egotism like Mr. Trumpf , nevertheless its extremely demoralizing to a psychologically healthy person to find yourself in such a circumstance. In my case, it was just plain undoable and I quit humiliated but happy not to have to go to work every day and be totally clueless and obviously so. Trumpf just goes golfing and does business down at Mar aLago where I suspect he feels in his own space. The WH is a magnifying glass on him and it just makes his mistakes and misstatements etc. look that much worse. The utter contempt he 's held in by the Professional DC class and even the Congress is on full display and it must be so aggravating to a person who has always done pretty much as he pleased and been rewarded and congratulated for it by a cadre of Yes people and servants he keeps securely around him. DC with it palace intrigue and its endless nitpicking by forces he can't control must be driving him bonkers.

Your observation is interesting to read and valuable. From my point of view, I have less empathy for Trump, precisely because he is now the president. Unlike yourself in the position you describe and left, Trump's actions affect all of us and beyond. His affect is global. In this sense his actions are extraordinarily selfish, it's a level of selfishness that is unparalleled because the global population is at its largest. I have contempt for Trump, he is in over his head, and he is unqualified. Unfortunately we all suffer as a result.

I totally agree Jim. His utter lack of REAL empathy, not the phony example he used to bomb that airbase the other day ( that was his daughters) is scary in of its self.
