The Market On Friday

Good morning. It is 37 degrees and partially overcast here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a partly cloudy day with temperatures in the high 40s this afternoon. I was watching Steve Kornacki yesterday and learned that Clinton lost the election in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan by a combined total of 79,000 votes give or take a few, yet she won the popular vote by 2.5 million votes and that number continues to grow.

At 8:30 a.m. ET futures are slightly lower and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open slightly lower.

According to CNN - "U.S. unemployment rate fell to 4.6%, the lowest level since 2007, and employers added 178,000 jobs in November." So this should be a boost, I'm sure Trump will take credit for this right.
