Sheep. They have no idea of what's going to go down from Jan 20th 2017 on. 50% of them won't care until it impacts their lives directly.
I think a lot of people project their hopes onto Trump. It doesn't make any sense but this is how it works. I did not vote for Trump and I did not in the least think Clinton would do the things that I want. All I wanted was for Clinton to not make it worse, Trump will make it a lot worse.
Poll: 50 Percent Approve of Trump's Transition Handling So Far
50% of people also approve of the sky falling.
And 50% of people are brain dead.
Taken in this context, it makes perfect sense.
On the other hand, one thing we learned from this year's debacle is that polls are not very accurate.
