Obamacare was a mess from the start and now it's going to be replaced with Trump care ( AKA I Could Care less) which will be even worse by many degrees then OCare which was pretty bad Ins. I'm in the process right now of buying a policy for my wife and it's ugly stuff for what you get.

We are in a health care crisis. The health care is there but the access and cost are prohibitive. Right now I'm lucky as I have it, but I spent many years without. Fortunately I had it when I needed it the most. One time I took a course at the local community college and added in the small nominal cost for their student health care. It was $25 or so. While I had that as my only health care, I needed plastic surgery on my finger. Turns out the community college ponied up, $500 of the cost. I would suspect that loophole is long gone.
