She didn't want a running mate that would overshadow her like Liz Warren or Bernie. She already has a problem with Billy that way and has to keep him under control or else.
Yes, there was consensus on that. He'll be alright. Now she just has to win because it hers to lose. Can you imagine Trump as president - what a shit storm that would be. It's one thing at a time, that one thing is to make sure Trump loses.
