The Market On Thursday

Good morning. It is 57 degrees and it is hazy here in the Upper Hudson Valley. The forecast predicts temperatures in the high 60s this afternoon and that there will be sunshine as well. The news is harsh this morning with the disappearance of an Egyptian airliner. How can an airliner disappear going from Paris to Cairo? Must have occurred over the Mediterranean. Let's see what the main stream Trump news is all about today.

At 9:00 a.m. ET futures are modestly lower and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open lower.

The thing that caught my attention this morning is Bayer making a move to buy Monsanto. Now what liberal worth his or her weight in brown rice likes Monsanto? The answer is none, zero. eh eh. This is a spell it like it is deal, chemicals to chemicals, like to like, same to same. Soon we'll have pain free vegetables that clear your headache.
