America's Overdose Epidemic

  Examine the interactive map which shows how the epidemic has grown since 1999. It's startling. The Southwestern part of the country is especially heavily hit. Upstate NY is one of the least affected areas in the country yet just a few weeks ago I learned of a young woman, a daughter of a friend of a friend, who overdosed and died. So we are indeed affected too, make no mistake. This epidemic is a nightmare.
