Laquan McDonald

This video is hard to watch. Whatever was going on in that officer's mind is beyond me. With murder two lives are lost in different ways but still lost, the victim and the perpetrator.

It occurs that the media might consider doing the country a tiny favor by once in a while actually showing a video clip of a perpetrator doing something heinously bad and then being arrested by an officer. We are getting the impression that the police are bad, and that's bad. There are some bad ones yes, but this still does not represent all police. Let's see one video of them truly on the side of law enforcement and protection of the public good.

This runs parallel to all the video we see now of Trump at his rallies and such. Trump is representing 8% of the country, as far as I can tell the most extreme faction of the right. But it sells on TV, the networks garner larger viewing audiences and audiences represent advertising sales and profits. It's messed up as we know.
