Fascist? As usual the GOP mixes up its regime types. Donald isn't a classic Fascist quite yet, but he is indeed a classic demagogue and authoritarian. The rest of the GOP field though isn't that far behind.

I think on the surface when you marry a corporate billionaire with the presidency, we are definitely aiming towards fascism. Trump is all that. I think Bush/Cheney were in that realm especially when you consider the war supportive corporations like Halliburton and their connections to Cheney and Bush. Plus there's the mood of the country where the yahoos act out their malice on the weak and overall rights become restricted where all our conversations/emails/exchanges/ even bio samples are sent to the government for records and parsing. And there's so much more - the restriction of the media, the rise of the anti-knowledge media and on and on.
