Its a catch 22, because much of our military is being used to protect Energy and other mining company interests everywhere and also to protect the sea lanes used by them to ship their shit here. The military is above the law , hell they are the law. As Mao said, all political power emanates from the barrel of a gun these days. In the old days it was at the pt. of a sword. 777

Will never happen anyhow, there's too many right wing military guys in the power structure. Plus so much of the American economy is linked to military spending - they don't want cuts, they want more bacon.
