U.S. adds 169,000 jobs in August. Unemployment rate eases to 7.3% from 7.4% in July.

Because even more people have given up and dropped out of the job market. The Great Recession has never ended in reality a huge no. of people have just resigned themselves to being out of work and out of luck. Their jobs are gone forever many of them exist now in foreign lands or foreigners have been given them here. Patriotism is for chumps and losers. The flag is only invoked when needed to march off to war to protect the interests nd investments of the 1% and their fellow travelers.

Plus most of these jobs are inferior, minimum wage, a dead end basically. We need an igniting spark of some kind to percolate people's energy, get things moving in a positive way. It's not coming from the political arena either because that is severely divided with virtually no compromise plus it's teaming with extreme contempt. That's not the ground for a uniting vision. We are on our own right now. Society is very disjointed and people are in a lot of confusion. The strange crimes we read about every day are also part of this large problem
