Global Warming - Coal

The Seattle Times: Global warming should rule out the expansion of coal
It will be lucky if the rise (in sea levels) in this century can be held to 4 feet, he says. And after 2100, the rise speeds up.

Ward’s position is, “Anything but coal” — in China, in America or anywhere. America could replace coal entirely with a combination of natural gas, nuclear and wind, he says.

I got news for everyone the sea rise is well underway and it's picking up speed. 4 ft. LOL try 24 feet if were lucky. I bet parts of Greenland and the Antarctic will melt well before the present predictions. The Arctic sea Ice wasn't suppose to melt before 2050 , it was almost there last summer. Can you say tipping pt.?

I hear you. It seems like the point of a lot of these articles is to shift the worry 100 years into the future and suggest that all we get is a light sprinkle of heat here and there for the next decades.

Right! Having lost the debate on the science, the Energy criminals and their endless chorus of right wing flacks and flunkies will now try to minimize it and make it seem like it's a minor issue. These people truly fit the saying "the banality of evil" to a tee.
