Oil Is Rising

Oil prices are on the rise. Gas will be getting more expensive. Right now I am reading $4 per gallon this year, with some experts saying $5 per gallon in 2012.

As much as everyone wants to disconnect from hydrocarbons as our main energy source, its just not happening. Read the article linked below and you will get the sense of just the opposite. That would be that demand for oil is increasing.

When demand increases, resources are placed on more drilling production and meeting the new demands.

I don't see any strong movement toward renewable energy. If the Republicans take control of the White House in 2012, the little tribute that is presently paid towards renewable energy will disappear completely.

Reuters: Oil hits 26-month high to end 2010 up 15 percent
...many experts say oil could break $100 a barrel in the new year, they don't expect a surge to levels near $150 seen in 2008...

...touching $92.06, the highest level since October 7, 2008.

"...there is technical support around $89 a barrel and the rally will continue to march into next year..."
