The Gulf of Mexico continues to fill with oil. One thing that's hard to recall is the intensity of oil in this form. The odor alone is enough to send you packing. I recall driving through the North Jersey as a child when we would vacation on the Jersey coast. I was this little kid sitting in the back of the station wagon doing all I could to keep from passing out and/or puking from the overwhelming smell of the refineries. And it went on and on. I bet some of you remember that as well.
Boston Globe:
Oil spill covers geese, ducks in Utah
At least 400 to 500 barrels of oil spewed into Red Butte Creek before crews capped the leak site.
