Well Glenn, why didn't Obama get something going on this? We've got submarines. Why couldn't they plug the pipe?

Establish an inquiry, fine, but after you STOP THE LEAK.

"Modern nuclear attack submarines like the American Seawolf class are estimated to have a test depth of 1,600 feet (490 m),[1] which would imply (see above) a collapse depth of 2,400 feet (730 m)."

Submarine to do friggin what Ed? This disaster is under 5K of water and nothing but a few specialized submersibles can even reach those depths let alone do anything down there. What would u like Obama to do put a cork in it?

Hi Glen,
Yes. A cork. Some kind of expandable plug. All you need is a research sub, robot, with a wrench.

Another thing that could be done is to tell yahoos like me how hard it is to do this. What steps have been taken or thought of. Give us something besides planned inquirys.

Thanks Jim, I didn't know that.
