Not Even Close

We were pretty sure we had seen mention of Iran about two inches away from the bomb, just this morning.

We heard it right from the heights of our military.

The first reaction was, this sounds a little far fetched. This sounds like the old war drum beat again.

Gulf News: Iran 'not close' to nuclear weapon, says Pentagon's Gates
"They're not close to a stockpile, they're not close to a weapon at this point, and so there is some time," Gates said on NBC television's "Meet The Press."

Gates' comments followed a televised interview with Admiral Mike Mullen, head of the USmilitary Joint Chiefs of Staff, who told CNN's "State of the Union" that he believed Iran has enough fissile material to make a nuclear bomb.

They want Iran so they can complete the ring around Asia and the internal Asian "Stans." This is where the resources are at. Iran is just an unbuttoned link in the fabric and the plan is to button it up. The drum beat to bomb Iran began with the neocons and those guys are still active.
