It appears to be coming. I have priced them for my house and so far it has not looked all that great except if I were to live in my house for a long long time.
If the panels get down to a reasonable in price, the thing will take off because people will start seeing a return on investment in a few years rather than after a decade.

Without jobs whose going to buy these things? The wealthy don't need them electric costs are incidental to them.
I'm interested but it has to come down a lot more.
I think there are people out there that want this kind of thing now. They know that fuel prices will rise eventually.
I wanted a solar system once. I priced it out and it made absolutely no sense @ all. The whole green thing is just political feel good talk by the left. It doesn't exist for the average person. We need Nat'l health care before we all need solar.
