Mueller is slowly methodically building his case against TrumPutin and he has plenty of well-wishers in both parties behind the scenes helping him out. Donald is HATED and feared in DC by the pols and the various bureaucracies. He's picking fights with all the wrong enemies. It's like the scene in Scarface ( the1983version with Al Pacino) up in his office with a pile of Coke on the desk and his "little friend" ( a massive GUN) in his arms screaming "come on MFers come and get me !!" Outside the doors of the office, the army of assassins is climbing over the walls through the windows etc. We can only hope this shitshow has a similar satisfying ending!
I don't think most despot come to a happy ending, at least so far in history. Maybe one or two slipped through the cracks somehow, but in modern times, well it's just a matter of time. It's hard to imagine Trump living out his life as a happy senior puttering in the garden and handing out cookies to children all while he's all love and adorable smiles.
