It's standard Hard right ideology. The ungrateful and lazy poor need to pay more for being "takers." The wealthy "makers" on the other hand need to be rewarded because they work hard at creating wealth. It's straight Ayn Rand.

Yes. Poverty is a crime in GOP world. I was reading a FOX News article on how the homeless in Atlanta sleep in the airport as a way of getting out of the cold. The comment section was unbelievable. People were writing that now is the time to get Orkin into the airport in order to exterminate the homeless. They used the word exterminate too. Now, could this have been Russia, trying to create more turmoil, maybe it was, then again you and I know that sentiment is indeed part of the GOP.
