Gillibrand is not going to back down. This is going to get larger. Trump has a fight on his hands now.

The BITCH HUNT !! I'm not getting on board it. I think it's politically a dead end for the left to think for some reason it's OK to expect everyone accused of a crime to just go quietly into the night. We are a nation of Laws and you have to charge, try and convict first not accuse and expect the person accused to just lie down and do whatever. It's a form of McCarthyism to just accuse people of some crime or association and expect them to act accordingly. We're wrong on this one and another thing what has happened in all this mania to the assumption of innocence extend to the accused? Kristen means well but her means are wrong.
Gillibrand is the only Democratic senator to oppose each and every one of Trump's cabinet appointees.
The problem is the tweet itself. It was, using kind words here, a meanness that is detestable. The proof is there, he is a sexist pig, he is a misogynist. In the best case, some guys learn and recognize that this is not the way to act. Trump is in the worst category, he just kept getting worse and worse as he got older. Now he's a full flat out pig. Gillibrand at this point deserves to go after Trump all she wants.
On the other hand, your point is well taken, it's meaningful. The problem is this is more about behavior and it's demeaning. Nobody wants to hear some nonsense shouted at them or have somebody you don;t know put their hands all over you. Trump has a history of it, he admitted to it. A ton of women came forward and said yeah he did that. This is meaningful. Society has to figure it out.
