Bill is way more optimistic than I am. I think were a very long way from anywhere reasonable as regards this klown and his party. I also don't believe the GOP will ever Impeach him no matter what he does. Look as an example how they are behaving in Congress as regards Mr. Mueller. Look at Lindsey Graham as an example of just how deep the ROT is in that party and its base.
Just take a look at a few of the problems Trump is facing. At any moment we could have another indictment, this could literally happen any day now. Then there's the Not Me movement and how that will continue to impact Trump and the opinion people have about Trump. There's Trump's approval numbers which continue to drift lower. There's Trump's bizarre actions like his brutal tweet to Gillibrand, that stuff is toxic. Also the tax bill is awesomely unpopular. Add it all up and you have a lot of power behind the massive outcry that Trump is experiencing now and would experience if he fires Mueller. Trump is an historically unpopular figure. That's not going to get better, he's not going to all of a sudden go into the 70% approval range. This is all presuming we don;t go to war or experience some fatal misery event. Trump is facing an onslaught of trouble. He is not in an easy position right now, even though apparently everyone around him keeps him in an absurd bubble.
