The Market On Tuesday

Good morning. It is 45 degrees and mostly sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the 60s this afternoon. Looks like we might have a couple of very pleasant Spring days, then it's rain, rain, rain. We are beginning to also see the return of leaves to some trees, their buds are swelling and the leaves are soon to be seen. Spring is great.

At 9:10 a.m. ET DOW futures are -64 and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open moderately lower.

Looks like Trump is not going to reveal his taxes, and what exactly is he hiding. He wants tax reform yet without his taxes we are unable to see exactly how much reform would directly benefit himself. Bottom line, it's looking like Trump wants tax reform with one main point in mind, that is to benefit himself. He wants to pay even less than the apparent nothing he pays now, all while you and I pay our taxes and it costs us a lot.

Speaking of taxes -- Tuesday is the final day to file 2016 U.S. tax returns with the IRS.
