Markets Are Closed On Good Friday

Good morning. It is sunny and 45 degrees here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts sunshine and temperatures in the 60s this afternoon. Looks like we are back into the 80s on Sunday, the greening of the Northeast is on track.

Certainly one of the more noteworthy reveals on Thursday was this line from the Guardian:

"“They now have specific concrete and corroborative evidence of collusion,” the source said. “This is between people in the Trump campaign and agents of [Russian] influence relating to the use of hacked material."

Trump could be in some deep hot water, however Presidents are given an awful lot of latitude and deference. I suspect he would never get jail or any of that, but his popularity, effectiveness, and viability are faltering. He's definitely giving a boost to left wing activism.

Reuters: U.S. retail sales fall for second straight month on weak automobiles
The Atlanta Federal Reserve is forecasting GDP rising at a 0.6 percent rate in the first quarter. This would be the weakest performance in three years and follows a 2.1 percent growth pace in the fourth quarter.
