The Market On Wednesday

  Good morning. It is 64 degrees and sunny here in the Upper Hudson Valley, the forecast predicts a sunny day with temperatures in the high 80s this afternoon. Italy has experienced a powerful earthquake and rescue crews are searching for survivors. That must be terrifying, so far I have been fortunate in only experiencing a few minor tremors and that was jarring.

  At 9:00 a.m. ET DOW futures are flat and the price of oil per barrel is down. The market is poised to open flat.

  It's been a relatively quiet and stable week on Wall Street. Oil inventories in the US will be compiled and reported on today and that will no doubt affect it's price. Check out that new Tesla, the future of electric cars is looking bright.
