Excellent article. This writer really nails why tRump's following is unreachable. The use of a line as a metaphor for their pt. of view I think sums them up. I've heard just such sentiments from more then a few of them. I've sadly said a few myself at times. It's hard not to comment on the mass of immigrants out here. My own community on any given day now looks like either a place in central Mexico or India , Pakistan etc. It's happened that way and it's disconcerting sometimes. I think to some degree it's just human nature. Nevertheless, it doesn't make me hate these people like it does the people in his article.

It's a poignant article - ""He's had open-heart surgery. He's had stomach surgery. He's had like eight surgeries. He's still working, though. He wants to work. He's got a daughter in jail—her third DUI, so he's raising her son—and this and that. But he doesn't want anything from the government. He's such a neat guy." There was no mention of the need for a good alcoholism rehab program for his daughter or after-school programs for his grandson. Until a few days before his death Albert continued working, head high, shame-free."
